Autumn + Pivot

Taking a walk outside really helped clear my mind as the sculpture was giving me a headache, In the end, I decided to pivot completely and focus my attention more on what was around me. At this point, autumn leaves seems ideal for this artwork as it fits the criteria of repetition, colour and materiality. So I started collecting leaves for my collagraphs.

An illustration by a Chinese Artist from Xiaohongshu. I decided to use this as a reference for one of my thumbnails for lino by replacing the fish with a cat. I also really like this colour palette.
